THE TECHNICAL MATRIX
What I work on.
Five disciplines that, on most projects, show up together rather than in isolation.
Energy Systems
- Solar PV
- Battery storage
- Power management
- Hybrid systems
Water & Agricultural Systems
- Irrigation design
- Pump systems
- Water distribution
- Fertigation infrastructure
Industrial Systems
- Automation
- Process control
- Equipment integration
- Monitoring systems
Mechanical Systems
- System design
- Equipment selection
- Maintenance planning
- Optimization
Project Implementation
- Technical planning
- Procurement support
- Site supervision
- Commissioning
IN PRACTICE
Where the disciplines meet.
Most real projects sit across two or three of these columns at once. A few examples of how they combine on site.
Energy × Industrial
- Hybrid inverter load coordination SUNGRID 48
- Automatic changeover logic SUNGRID 48
- Remote energy monitoring SUNGRID 48
Water × Mechanical
- Pump station sizing & suction design Head, Managed
- Pressure-zoned drip networks Water, Zone by Zone
- Filtration & fertigation integration Water, Zone by Zone
EQUIPMENT & TOOLING
Hands-on, not just drawings.
Daniel's expertise is grounded in physical familiarity with the equipment he specifies — bearings, seals, valves, motors, drives and instrumentation. He selects components he has installed, maintained or replaced himself, not only components he has read a datasheet for.
This matters most when something fails. Systems designed by someone who understands how components actually degrade are easier to diagnose and repair in the field, which is precisely where most engineering value is won or lost after handover.
